![]() Select any speed scale as desired and press SET button to complete the setting. ![]() "km/h" and "mile/h" are displayed alternatively each time the right button is pressed. When the AC button is pressed and all displays illuminate then the "mile/h" appears as shown in fig.4. Or, the "Setting Values Cross Reference Table" can help you to find out an approximate wheel circumference according to tire size. ![]() This measure is your actual wheel circumference. Mark the ground at the end of one revolution and then measure the distance between the two marks. Then ride the bike one full wheel revolution. How to measure the exact Wheel Circumference (L)(Fig.3)įirst, adjust tire pressure and then put a mark on the tire tread and the ground simultaneously. User must make the following setting according to instructions before the cyclocomputer can be used properly. (In the total distance display mode, the current wheel circumference (A) or (B) is shown.) MAIN UNIT PREPARATION Stored data of trip distance (D), elapsed time (T), average speed (A) and maximum speed (M) are all reset to zero. Press left button to select any mode except total distance (O) and press left and right buttons together. (refer to Main Unit Preparation) Reset Operation: (Fig.2) Once this button is pressed and all memory is erased, it will be necessary to set the wheel circumference, time, etc. This button should be pressed only after replacing the battery or when irregular display of information occurs due to static electricity, etc. After all displays illuminate, the "mile/h" symbol illuminates. ![]() When this button is pressed, all the data stored in memory is cleared. Select the (T),(A) or (D) mode, then press the SET button.ĪC (All Clear) Button (bottom right button) Stop the measurement in ( ) mode, then press the SET button. Stop the measurement in the (O) mode, then press the SET button. Note: This button does not function if the auto mode function is set to ON. During measurement the speed scale symbol blinks. Whenever this button is pressed, start and stop are repeated. Measurement of trip distance, elapsed time and average speed is started or stopped when the start/stop button is pressed. Note: If this button is kept pressed for more than 2 seconds, display appears. Whenever this button is pressed, the mode display changes in the order shown in fig.1, and the data is displayed on the sub-display. Of the couple of C2s I own, I've seen it happen as well. Since you also have the problem and I have 2 other systems with no problem whatsover, I suspect they have some intermittant design or mfging flaw and we're just the lucky ones that got nailed. The other night I swapped that transmitter out for a Cateye C2 transmitter and now it's rock solid. It was better, but it too had the same problem only the mileage impact was reduced to 3-5%. I got a return unit, and swapped out the transmitter only. Problem though was it would seriously decrease the mileage - 10-50% reduction (as expected). if I was going 20, it would show 20, 10, 15, 20, 5, 0, 20, 10, 15, 20.) Clearly, it was missing some proportion of the magnet passes like 1/4, 2/4 or 4/4. It would show my speed, then drop down to some multiple of that speed (eg. I bought 3 C7s last year and one of them displayed the behavior you're describing. Click to expand. The bad news I think it's defective.
